Mauricia Pascal, born in the Spice Island of Grenada on July 29th, 1985 is a natural performer of alternative soca music. With her father from Antigua and her mother from Grenada, Mauricia proudly says, she has the best of both worlds.
At the young age of six, Mauricia migrated to the United States where she started singing in the School and Church Choir. Mauricia also began writing poetry at the age of 13. She eventually began turning these poems into songs.
When Ms. Pascal turned 16, she graduated from Barbizon Modeling School and joined the Sesame Flyers International Youth Council.
